Series 5, NFPA Tie-Rod Cylinders, Steel – Standard Duty Hydraulic – (1.5″ – 8.0″ Bore)
Hydraulic Cylinders Inc.’s Series 5 NFPA tie-rod cylinders are made to order for medium-duty hydraulic (oil) applications, using rugged industrial tie-rod construction with steel components for dependable push/pull performance on industrial equipment. Built to ANSI/NFPA T3.6.7 standards for NFPA interchangeability across common mounting styles, Series 5 covers 1.5”–8” bores with piston rod sizes 5/8”–5-1/2”, and is available in any practical stroke length. Nominal pressure is up to 1000 PSI (dependent on bore size) using hydraulic oil. Options include end-of-stroke cushioning at the head, cap, or both ends, a float check at the cap end, multiple rod-end choices (specials available), and porting flexibility with NPT standard and SAE O-ring optional.
